"It's a great little apartment, although facilities were quite old, they had everything. Service and Location was great! Walkable distance to Edinburgh castle, royal mile and Victoria street. We parked our car at the hotels designated carpark."

Lots of great options and delivered to your room at your time of choice. Host was friendly when I met him briefly in the morning. Being able to access my room key in the lock box outside was great as I arrived a lot later than planned. Highly recommend. 😄"

"I was upgraded to a castle view room upon my arrival which was really nice. Reception staff were very friendly and allowed me an early check in as my room was ready. The beds were comfy and breakfast was very good. The only thing was that there was a bit of toothpaste not cleaned off the sink (it was behind the taps so I could see how it could be missed) and a shower cap was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. "We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. "The Shore area and its bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance and the tram stop is just across the road. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is a pleasant place to round off an evening."

"The property's location was ideal for us. My daughter was studying the the Univ of Edinburgh and staying at Pollack halls. The proximity made it easier to see her and make plans. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and staff is very friendly. The bath amenities are top-rated! The heated towel rack helped a lot too. Overall, a comfortable stay."

"Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel.
