"Great hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable, great to have an extra bed. Bathroom was of a very high standard. Enjoyed cocktails, ambience and service in the hotel bar. Only criticism was check in desk halted our check in to take a call from a new corporate booking (yes i could hear all the details) and we were then kept waiting for approx 10 minutes. This is rude. Overall excellent, we would return! "

"Always an amazing experience at YOTEL in Edinburgh. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here 3 times over the past 5 months. Never had any issues and the room has always been great. The only let down is cleanliness, there are those parts of the room that are missed, such as corners being filled with dirt/dust, Linen being stained, and floors not being vacuumed. It’s the small attention to detail for the cleaning that is a bit of a let down. However, it is generally clean. The location is great, it’s central enough to be able to go into the various parts of Edinburgh. There is breakfast available, however for the price you can have a much nicer breakfast elsewhere in Edinburgh. I would only choose the breakfast out of sheer convenience. YOTEL’s are set up to be straightforward and convenient. The systems to check in are great, if you don’t want to interact with other humans there’s generally no need. "

"It’s centrally located so places are closeby. The staff are friendly. A minor issue was that the men’s toilets/bathrooms were in repairs on my floor so we were asked to use the facilities downstairs."

"Really friendly and helpful staff. Receptionist was very good. Rooms clean and just what you need. Breakfast was really well cooked."

"I was upgraded to a castle view room upon my arrival which was really nice. Reception staff were very friendly and allowed me an early check in as my room was ready. The beds were comfy and breakfast was very good. The only thing was that there was a bit of toothpaste not cleaned off the sink (it was behind the taps so I could see how it could be missed) and a shower cap was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. "

"Excellent rooms. Great location if you’re okay with walking steps or roads uphill to close by Royal Mile. Lobby was under renovation which when completed should be great and easier for checkin and staff services. "

"I stay at the Leonardo every time I’m travelling through Glasgow. This time Iza was on front desk and was fantastic. This hotel is excellent for Glasgow Central station, has a very good breakfast, soundproofing is effective so even my room which overlooked the station was quiet. I left very early the following morning but they were accommodating in giving me the morning breakfast on the checkin day which was a superb touch. All in all a thumbs up."

"Great location. Lovely big room and bathroom. Very clean. Enjoyed the pool and steam room/sauna - practically had them to myself. It’s a shame there are no loungers round the pool (as per photographs on website) - only chairs. It’s a small area so maybe they weren’t practical. "
