The hotel staff was friendly and efficient, and the hotel was well located, within easy walking distance from the main train station. The rooms were clean and specious, and very comfortable.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to everything. Staff was very nice. The only negative I have was that we requested wake up calls and either didn’t get it or was 20 mins late so set your alarm on your phone. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

I would have rated higher but wasn't happy with the mould on the bathroom grouting. Whilst I could have complained I didn't want that to overshadow what ended being a fabulous trip to Edinburgh What was great - front desk staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel is situated in an excellent location. Close to a shopping mall, access to plenty of restaurants and bars, less than 5 mins walk to Waverley train station, Princess street, North Bridge and Carlton hill. Bus stops and the hop on & off bus opposite the hotel. We didn't try the breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment but there are plenty café's close to the hotel. Overall, enjoyed my stay but the bathroom needs maintenance.
