"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."

"Great location, walkable to Old town. Parking scarce, paid parking in the back was available. Room was quiet and clean. Could use some tlc in bathroom painting. One bedroom lamp was broken and no hallway light to our farthest corner room. Otherwise a great home base stay and pretty decent pricing for what we got :) Would stay again."

"Didn’t stay at hay market hub as it has now closed but must say was transferred to old Waverley hotel and had an excellent time rooms clean and nice staff friendly and pleasant would definitely stay here again "
