"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."

Yes the hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment but it was clean and comfortable enough and was perfect for us to lay our head down after 2 busy Festival days.
