"Loved the location. Caught the tour bus right across the street from the hotel. Easy to walk to other restaurants. Room service had the very best hamburger and fries. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the big bathtub! And so glad to have a room with air conditioning! Front desk and bar staff very helpful. Just a short walk to pick up rental car"

"Just an overnight stay before heading to airport early the next day but it was the perfect location ( only a 7 min easy drive), perfect accommodations at a great price. The grounds were beautiful and food was good. Would recommend if in the area. "

"Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service staff good at their jobs. The only issue was the TV in the room had no signal and although we mentioned it , nothing was done. "

"We were struggling with jet lag when arriving and the Native was perfect to unwind and get some good sleep while being close walking distance to restaurants, pubs and Princes St corridor. Native had super quiet and comfortable apartments and easygoing and approachable staff. We had a lovely hostess when we arrived that was able to answer our questions with it being our first time in the UK. We walked to our sightseeing destinations most of the time and found it a pleasant walk each time, being...

"Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. "Loved it all!!! Ship,clean, very well managed property in a great location in Edinburgh. Easily walkable to Grassmarket ( a few steps away), concert hall , new town, trams , train station and Royal mile/ old town Delightful staff - fun,accommodating and very helpful.. Great facilities . And ...our room had a stunning view up to the castle!! Cannot wait to come back!!!! "
