"This was a wonderful space for my wife and I to explore Edinburgh for a couple of days. It's a tremendous deal for what you get. Apartment is well designed and comfortable; everything you need. Convenient parking was available right on site for a fee of 20 pounds per day--which is a fair rate for the location. You can walk to the Royal Mile in about 10 minutes. Grocery store nearby. Overall, an excellent place for an individual or couple staying in downtown Edinburgh."

"Apartment is great. The biggest issue is this - map app shows hotel is 2 mins walk from Waverley station. It didn’t tell us that you would have to climb 4 levels of stairs to get from train station street level to North Bridge Rd. Not good for those with big luggage. Take a taxi. Apartment building said access to unit eighteen (and some others) is only available via stairs (one and half flights). You can actually take the elevator to level one and walk down half flight (easy for luggage). ...

"The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. I did not notice any soundproofing inside the hotel either (ie, hallway noise and noise from the floor above). The restaurant is lovely, great breakfast and nice bar upstairs. Outstanding location!"
