"The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy. "

"The historic inn areas are beautiful with much wood and thoughtful touches, furniture and decor combines comfort and aesthetics. The garden is a peaceful haven with lots of space and flowers... and Thames footpath is very close by. "This was a great find for us, the place on the whole was quiet and picturesque. Staff and service was excellent and we would overall stay again if we were in the area. The breakfast had all components that you could want/need from continental to a cooked breakfast.
