"Hotel itself was nice and cozy but it was clearly short-staffed. The few present staff were super friendly though. Liked the fact that they allowed us to take our kitten there which made the whole trip far more enjoyable. The room we stayed was a spacious suite with a comfy bedding."

The breakfast had all components that you could want/need from continental to a cooked breakfast. Hot drinks machine throughout the day included in your stay as well as a gym, huge free car park and free WiFi. The hotel is within walking distance of the little village and there are a good number of restaurants and pubs for food...

"The historic inn areas are beautiful with much wood and thoughtful touches, furniture and decor combines comfort and aesthetics. The garden is a peaceful haven with lots of space and flowers... and Thames footpath is very close by. The only issue was that our room was not ready on time but the above-and-beyond helpful staff more than made up for the inconvenience and we had a delightful wait in the garden.
