"It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. Mom slept in the queen bed and said it was very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries as they are sparsly provided. The shower floor has no slippage protection. I did mention this to...

"Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. We mentioned it was our little minimoon and they very kindly left us some chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Amazing stay exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer xxxx"

"First of all, Charlie was great! We had major train delays and didn’t arrive until the middle of the night/very early morning and he was so nice to reach out with concern. He was very welcoming and quick to assist when we had issues with the heat. The welcome treats were fantastic! Much more than I’ve ever seen at other rentals. "The property is spotless although a dated feel inside. The log fire is great. Handy having dishwasher and washing machine. St Monans is stunning and it’s an easy, beautiful walk to Pittenweem. Careful about where you park, if you park behind the house you run the risk of a neighbour parking across your rear in a show of? Annoyance? Aggression? Arrogance? Who knows?!!!"

"I can't recommend this apartment more. There were 6 of us and it worked out perfectly. The apartment was extremely clean and had all the provisions needed. It's as cute as the pictures show. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet and dark, great for sleeping. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants we booked. "It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things...

"What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."
