"Lovely hotel in fantastic location. All staff were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Our canal view room was worth the extra expense and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was newly refurbished and very modern. Food was of good quality at breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant, if a little on the expensive side. Would definitely stay at the Ambassade Hotel again. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay."

"Hotels location was excellent on one of the nicest canals. Breakfast was great and good value for money. We were lucky to get the last room when we booked but it was very small, hardly enough space to walk around the bed which is typical of hotels on the canals. All in all a good base for Amsterdam, walk to most places. "

Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value. "

"We had a great experience here! The rooms were spacious and clean, the lobby was beautiful, and the location absolutely perfect! Although the trams were quite easy to use, we walked everywhere - with 3 kids. About 30-45 minute walk to the Palace and Anne Frank museum and only 30-40 minute walk in the other direction to the Rijksmuseum. Plenty of beautiful parks with playgrounds for the kids and lots of restaurant choices within 20 minutes walking. Would highly recommend!"
