Our canal view room was worth the extra expense and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was newly refurbished and very modern. Food was of good quality at breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant, if a little on the expensive side. Would definitely stay at the Ambassade Hotel again. "Very pretty, well kept communal areas and smelt gorgeous throughout. Very clean and spacious room. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful - we were greeted with a hello every time we returned to the hotel throughout our stay. Stored luggage for us with no problems before we checked in and after we checked out so we could make the most of our time around the city. Great location. "Unfortunately, I don’t have many nice things to say about the property itself. Upon checkin I discovered the actual hotel Roemer was nearly a 15 min walk from the apartments. No one advised this nor is it mentioned in the property details. They called me a taxi. I stayed in apartment 540-1. It was in poor condition. The carpet was OLD, stained and smelly. The couch in the living room was equally as bad. It should be replaced, as it’s disgusting. I covered it with one of the blankets from the...
