"If you’re coming to Edinburgh for the castle this is a great hotel to stay at. You’re only 5 minutes to the castle and can see it from the front doors!"

"Having a kettle for tea or coffee would have been great. I loved how efficiently everything was organized in a small space. Good buffet breakfast. "

"We loved the location of Leonardo Royal and the staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the main train station. There are steps and a passageway right thru the property leading up to The High Street, which has numerous restaurants, pubs, churches, and at the top, Edinburgh Castle - all walking distance. Staff were wonderful, stored our luggage until check in, offered directions and dining suggestions. Would stay here again."

"The shower setup sucks, the shower water did not get hot. The little hotel bars of soap would have been nice. "

"The room is spacious with a kitchen and washer and dryer. This is great for family. Super convenient to have all those things in the room. The hotel also provides free detergent. "

"Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. Thanks for the stay :)"

"Beautifully furnished, efficient apt. Close to everything on the Royal mile. Nice view of the Castle from the window. Easy to pick up transportation at this location too. Excellent customer service, super helpful & knowledgeable."

"The customer service is amazing! Mathew was the best! He told us how to use the bus to downtown Edinburgh and the tram. He had great pub recommendations too. The only drawback is the pillows we're too hard."
