"We loved our stay here in Edinburgh! 5 min way from Edinburgh train station where we arrived from London. 5 min walk to royal mile and about 10 minutes from the castle. Many amazing food options in the area! Room was amazing and comfortable! We had a great stay!"

"One of the nicer Holiday Inn properties we’ve stayed in with regards to lobby and breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean-ish. Price was quite high, imo but I think Edinburgh in general is pretty pricey when it comes to hotels. Parking was on site. "

"Beautiful hotel. Very clean. We arrived by train and were so happy that the hotel was just a five minute walk from the station. The royal mile with all the shops and restaurants was literally a 3 minute walk. Arthur’s Seat trail was only 15 minute walk. Shopping district a 10 minute walk. This hotel will always be my choice on future visits to Edinburgh. "

"We were allowed into the room very early which was of great use for us. The room had a handicap accessible bathroom which was excellent for me. Normally I don't request accessible bathrooms but this was available and it was very helpful. Slightly handicapped US individuals can find local facilities a problem but this helped greatly and was much appreciated. "

"Though room was nice but the availability of restaurant food was limited. The dinner served was not very hot and the taste was poor and artificial. Thai green curry rice was nowhere near the original taste. Also basmati rice was thick. Chicken was not cooked and chewy. Breakfast was better but not many options. "

"I booked because I had an early flight and in contrast with other hotels around this one has an indoor pool, however, the pool was full of children in a class so not a lot of chance to relaxed quietly there. I also had to work and decided to bring my laptop to the restaurant, which at that moment was crowded with a Scottish wedding (pipes and all). The room was bigger than expected, although old fashioned and the tv did not work. I could hear noise in the hallway. Nevertheless, the staff was...

"Absolutely great location and beautiful building. Only issue we had if one of our rooms had a leak in the ceiling that dripped on the bedding."

"I would have thought that for the price i paid that breakfast would be included, my fault for not double checking i suppose, but had i realised that it was not b and b i would probably have booked somewhere else. "

"Let concentrate on changing bed sheets and pillow covers, need properly cleaning on it, else room cleaning, everything is well maintained. Swimming pool is also good we enjoyed stay lot."

"Great choice for easy access to Edinburgh without having to negotiate the traffic. The local bus stops a short walk away and was £2 each way. The location was very pretty and quiet with great parking. The food was very good and all the staff were very helpful and attentive. If you want to know a bit about things to see and do talk to Matthew on the front desk (he was very knowledgeable, engaging and had a good sense of humour). We would definitely recommend this hotel if travelling to...
