"We were struggling with jet lag when arriving and the Native was perfect to unwind and get some good sleep while being close walking distance to restaurants, pubs and Princes St corridor. "Eden Locke is well situated to go to old town as well as further away if you need to use publick transport. Our room was confortable and clean, but the mattress was a bit uncomfortable (slight dip in the center). Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. I did not notice any soundproofing inside the hotel either (ie, hallway noise and noise from the floor above). The restaurant is lovely, great breakfast and nice bar upstairs. Outstanding location!"

"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."

"Just an overnight stay before heading to airport early the next day but it was the perfect location ( only a 7 min easy drive), perfect accommodations at a great price. The grounds were beautiful and food was good. Would recommend if in the area. "
