"This hotel is in a great area, short walk to the trevi fountain, and a quick and easy walk to the metro which we took to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum. Rooftop restaurant has great food. Comfortable rooms, they had the second bed pulled out and ready for our family of four. They booked a cab to the airport for us, and it was ready and waiting in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel."

"My wife.and I were seeking a hotel close to the train station and I read a number of unsettling Expedia reviews about other hotels in the area.To our delight, none of the complaints I read about for hotels in the area were valid for the Columbia Hotel. The front desk staff especially was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, off the street and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, served at the top floor on a pleasant terrace.
