"Great hotel. Small room but had everything we needed and very modern. Not enough staff at breakfast time but those working did their very best. Would have been lots of choice if they could keep up with the top ups but some greedy people took more than they needed which meant things ran out quickly. Was an extremely busy weekend. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Lovely bar. Didn’t use leisure facilities. Nice addition having a Starbucks on site. "

Other Attractions In Bristol - a Few Suggestions

Bristol is home to the grand Victoria Rooms, which, as the name would imply, were built at the turn of the Victorian period and were designed in a Greek Revival theme. The site, owned by the University of Bristol, organises concerts and other live performances throughout the year, and once played host to Charles Dickens.

Elegantly Designed Rooms with Premium Bedding

Another major advantage of choosing four star hotels in Bristol is that you'll benefit from decent-sized, luxury bedding so you'll be guaranteed a pleasant night's sleep. Some hotels also provide pillow menus, and many are happy to provide additional bedding or cots for a nightly surcharge.

A City with Plenty of Pleasant Green Spaces

Bristol has a wide range of picturesque parks such as Snuff Mills, which features a former quarry and is known for its sizeable otter population residing on the River Frome. One of the most visited open spaces is Ashton Court, an 850-acre estate dominated by the imposing Ashton Court mansion and a venue for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and the city's Kite Festival.

See Brunel's SS Great Britain

This mighty ship, which during a period of more than 170 years has sailed the world more than 30 times, was designed by the world-renowned engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It's now one of Britain's most popular family attractions, where visitors can explore its decks and learn about what life would have been like aboard in its Victorian heyday.
