"Great location for walking, but driving a car onto the one-way street was a little challenging. Some additional instructions when approaching from the north would be appreciated. (Google maps was not quite enough.) The floor plan was great for our purposes. We loved the supermarket so close by. It would have nice been to have a mirror close to an outlet, so we could use a hairdryer. Otherwise, a great place."

"We booked the Barbican House as we had tickets to see Paul Weller at the Barbican. From the minute we arrived they were so helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We hadn't booked breakfast but decided to order as we arrived, the cost was £15 each per night, it was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and then a full English with gorgeous bacon and sausages. "Pluses: Cute, clean little unit with nice amenities, friendly helpful staff. Minuses: If you are sensitive to noise, you should know that this is right next to a pub with a beer garden, and they played loud music with patrons singing along enthusiastically until 9:30 on the night I was there. After that, a little quieter, but noise was noticeable up until 11 PM or so. AC control didn't work, which meant I had to open the skylight, which let in more sound from the adjacent pub."
