"Upon arrival the staff checked us in quickly and were friendly. The booking was for us as a family of 3, but the sofa bed had not been set up. We had 2 additional pillows with covers, but there was no sheet and no duvet cover and not enough towels for 3. I went to reception to request these and within half an hour someone came along to give us these and offer to make up the bed, which we declined and did it ourselves. "Both check in and check out we’re quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 219 the laminate flooring was un even and had holes. The bathroom had down lights hanging from the ceiling The jets in the bath led to the bath being dirty when used. There was small open door next to the bathroom that led to a room that wasn’t used or meant to be seen. The aircon was left on all evening and didn’t change the room at all. "

"When I return to Liverpool, I will stay here. The staff was welcoming and answered all of my questions about locations in the area. It is close to Albert Docks The Liverpool museum and the Mersey River. It’s also right around the corner from Matthew Street where the cavern club and other bars and restaurants are located. There’s a Tesco store right around the corner as well as a Gregg’s bakery shop. Enjoy."

"1am arrival 40 mins late i was soooo pleased i had booked the hotel....not my first stay but first time on arrival. Very quick check in very quiet , also good to know they dont cancel bookings/ update until 2hrs after last flight arrival . In the big room i like the views the generous supplies of everything and big mugs instead of cups n saucers. Love a bed you have to climb into. Could have done with somewhere to prop my case rather than the spare bed . Now the kitchen flood is sorted breakfast...

No risk of cross contamination worries. 10/10 Everything was clean, and housekeeping very efficient. A small stain on the carpet and signs of wear and tear stiff sliding doors on wardrobe. Mattress a, little soft, but that's personal preference. Nothing that would stop us coming back."

"The food and beverages were excellent and the Castaway bar does great cocktails (had a Clop special whilst we were there). Breakfast choice is good and service is quick. It is easy to access the town centre and docks from the Liner Hotel."
