"We really enjoyed our stay at The Alamo! The service was superb. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was amazing! "
"The ultimate reason for our stay was a concert at the Hydro. We have stayed before and will stay again. However on this occasion the bar and restaurant were overrun by passing trade in what was exceptional weather and we had to look elsewhere for food and drink."
"Room was lovely and clean. My only difficulty was with the bathroom. I found it a tight squeeze getting in & out the shower door. The toilet was also in a very tight space between the shower & the wall. I would stay again but i would request a room with a bigger bathroom."
"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "
"Do NOT go to the reception area before the 3:00 check in time! The bearded man behind the counter has no interest in being helpful before that time! After 3:00, he sat behind the counter looking at his phone while a younger man helped the line of people checking in.
Other than that, things went smoothly. The young man who checked us in, after 3:00, was pleasant, the bathroom was clean & the room was clean, though small."
"Good no frills stay in an awesome part of town. Liz at the front desk was super friendly, that really made the stay for us. Room was clean if a little dated. Slept very well. "

"The Leonardo Hotel in Glasgow is conveniently located by the River Clyde. It is next to Glasgow Central train station and 2-3 blocks to shops on Buchanan Street and the St.Enoch subway station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby as well as a small Lidl supermarket.
The hotel has a spacious lobby ( with fruit, water and Walkers shortbread available for the taking) with lots of inviting places to sit.
We received a complimentary drink at the bar, which is quite nice and has a nice food menu, as well.
Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Beds were large and comfortable. Windows opened, but rooms had individually controlled heat & A/C.
Staff were wonderful and helpful with any request. We found ourselves commenting over and over again what a great place this was .
Hands down, we would strongly recommend the Leonardo!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Argyll Hotel. On arrival hotel staff were lovely, the car park was full but when we asked if they reccomended any parking near-by, one of the staff members moved their car so we wouldn’t have to pay for on-street parking.
Very short walk to the OVO Hydro which was fantastic for us. Lovely Indian resteraunts near by too.
Hotel was very clean, and breakfast was great.
Will definitely be back "
"This isn't the first time that I have stayed at Hotel du Vin which should tell you something.
A very comfortable hotel with excellent rooms all of which are individual and different from each other. The beds are superb and with the addition of a really deep bath it makes for a great base in Glasgow's West End. "
