"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"The factor which set this apart from a normal review would be the Host Paul.. Very helpful and genuinely friendly ... he also delivers a very tasty breakfast..... Nothing seemed too much trouble and I shall return when back in the area "

"We had a wonderful stay here whilst visiting family, who were just down the road. It’s in a perfect spot close to Liverpool, and only a stones throw from the Ferry. We were welcomed by Cheryl, David (owners) Mother who was lovely and very accommodating, who showed us to our room. The room was spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds (we wanted to bring them home!) and a good sized bathroom. We were impressed with the TV, which had lots of apps to choose from including Netflix, iplayer...

"Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "

"We would definitely stay here again, the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The entertainment on a night Dj and Bingo was really good. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely catered for all needs and had a wide variety of choices. service was exceptional. "Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."

"This is a beautiful old warehouse, which was quiet and comfortable. We felt we could come and go as we pleased. We didnt use any on site facilities, but it all looked clean and vibrant. The bed was comfy, just lacked some instructions to work the oven/microwave. Overall an excellent base to explore Manchester."
