"We arrived late as we had a bad experience at another hotel. We wete greeted with a warm smile and friendly service from the receptionist. The bar staff were so lovely and even though we were just after yhe closing hour they made sure we were fed after our exhausting trip. Only disappointment was my shower, as it was a multi head shower but the ‘rainfall’ standard overhead part didn’t work so I had to use the handheld head"

"The location was superb, room fantastic view however the hotel inside needs some tlc. The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning. The bed through was the nicest bed ever, so...

"The Nook was exceptionally clean and everything looked as if it were never used before. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and a smart tv in room meant I could relax and watch a movie. It was only 15 minute walk to town. The place itself was a bit hard to find. Google maps were sending me close but I eventually had to ask a local where Alexander road was."
