"What a venue!
I'd always heard about Close House as a great location for golf, but never really thought of it as a place to stay.
Its small enough to be personal and intimate. Not a huge venue that can feel overwhelming. Credit to all the staff, polite, welcoming, and always served with a smile."
"Love this hotel, the different rooms and the staff are brilliant and helpful, it makes it a special treat. The only downside is the parking fir such a large hotel the parking facilities are very limited."
"I was very happy with my stay. I was here for a run. I had a nice meal which was needed. I was particularly impressed at guest laundry at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a small extension to my check out time and this was not a problem. This was extremely helpful as it enabled me to change after my run. I would definitely stay here again"
"We booked this stay for our daughters birthday, all the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The reception were great with our daughter, they noticed it was her birthday and gave her a nice jar of jelly beans.
The room was clean and as expected, facility's were great especially the pool area.
We had a buffet breakfast in the morning, the selection was plentiful and all the food was good quality and presented well.
We will visit again."
