Find Luxury Hotels in New Town, Edinburgh

"小さい子供〜中学生の子連れ家族５人の旅行で利用しました。 サイト上の地図の表示よりもLothian roadに近いところです。Waverley駅から行くときは、New town 側から回ると、平坦な道で楽です。(逆に、old town側から行くとアップダウンがきついです。）空港バスのバス停からもすぐでした。 建物そのものはかなり古いのでしょうが、きれいに改築されていて、寝室３つにバスが３つ、広くて快適です。一部排水溝が流れにくかったりしましたが、特に使用上困るようなことはありませんでした。 部屋から見えるエディンバラ城、特に朝焼けをバックにシルエットが見えたのが最高でした。 洗濯機があって、眺めが良くて、駅や観光スポットから遠くない、できれば雰囲気のある建物で、というアパートを探していたので、まさに望み通りでした。 チェックイン２時間前に電話連絡が必要です。（レセプションがないので、担当の人がアパートで待っていてくれます）"

"What I didn't like.. The breakfast. In the states most hotels (both cheap and expensive) include breakfast. I paid 35 lbs for a breakfast that wasn't worth $3. Cold runny scrambled eggs. Nothing on the buffet table was especially inviting. Service was nice, and table clean, etc. The following days, we went down to McDonalds and had better meal for 8 lbs. For the price that we paid, you could do better and not charge so much."

"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night. In cold weather conditions, you really needed to take a taxi everywhere. It was deadly quiet too with no atmosphere. In fact, it was more akin to a gentleman's club, rather than a hotel. But in saying that, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The...
