"Fantastic hotel in every respect. I have just returned from a three-night stay. My son was staying in a cottage just down the road and this was a perfect location for all of us. The hotel is lovely and the friendly service was second to none. Every single member of staff (reception, bar staff, restaurant staff, and the cleaners) was so helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious- both the breakfasts and evening meals. Would definitely stay again. "

"This place is gorgeous! The family room for four worked brilliantly. A king for us a twin sofa bed for our boys and plenty of room. The grounds are stunning. There's easy parking at the front of the house. A lovely breakfast, but there is no other catering. We brought a packed dinner and ate it in the gorgeous lounge and had drinks from the bar. The games room was a super place to while away some time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we generally got fantastic service. It's pricey, but worth every penny. It's very close to Bodnant Gardens and Conwy, both of which we visited."

"Rowen is a lovely place very convenient location to stay for days out such as Conwy and Betws-y-coed etc only negative points were the lack of a local convenience store and the local pub did not open until 4pm on the Wednesday although this is the process of tenancy change so could change pretty soon the idea was taking my mum for days out then going to the pub for teatime which meant having to find somewhere else to go for dinner for the first couple of days parking is sometimes a problem but our host arranged with the landlady of the pub that we could park there should this happen (which did) so this was very convenient thanks Paul…overall we had a very pleasant stay the property was great with a nice welcome gift of a bottle of wine and tub of sweets and some savoury nibbles only niggles for my mum was how to access the rear of the property to sit down when the sun was out this is accessed by a set of wooden steps at the end of the building with no door in the actual property to get there it was quite awkward for my mum although there is a large window in the bedroom which I think could be converted into a door which would be a great improvement (possibly for the future) generally this is a nice place to stay one big master bedroom and a decent sized other nice roomy living area with electric skylights which were a nice touch we didn’t bother cooking anything whilst we were here but the kitchen had all you needed overall a recommended stay in a very pretty place😉👍"

"The house is warm and comfortable, perfect if the Welsh weather is not playing ball! The location is perfect - both in terms of the wonderful views but also for visiting the many local attractions. During our week’s stay in April we visited the Zipworlds at Betws-y-coed and Penrhyn Quarry as well as the steam train at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Conwy castle. All within 15-35 minutes drive. Even South Stack at the far end of Anglesey was only an hour away. Bodnant gardens National Trust is only 5 minutes away and was stunning after the heavy rain we’d just had. The view from the conservatory and the master bedroom was wonderful, ever changing with the weather and tides. We would definitely recommend staying here."
