"Great location opposite the Royal Exchange/St Anne's Square, on the less-busy part of Cross Street between the Arndale/Market Street shopping and Albert Square/Town Hall. Everything from a Gregg's to Harvey Nichols (and tram interchanges) within a few minutes' walk. Very new/fresh/modern feel throughout with three fast lifts for 7 floors. Nothing tired or worn. Friendly, efficient and helpful reception and house-keeping staff. Well-designed/thought-out room, clean, compact rather than cramped and with good-quality amenities perfectly suited to it just being the base/where-you-sleep in a world-class city-centre like Manchester. Overall, genuinely good value for money, happy to recommend it and very likely to stay again on a similar trip."

"I had booked a room without a window and upgraded. It was a lovely large double aspect room. The noise from the road both traffic and construction work was fierce. I will return but will ensure I have a room without a window. It will be quieter and I will get sleep. Breakfast was okay. Orange juice was lovely. I was down for 7.30am when it starts. The scrambled egg was stone cold and at best the rest was lukewarm. No grapefruit and/or prunes. The fruit was either an apple or orange. "

"It is an old historic building and being renewed with latest requirements with all basic amenities and beautifully renovated, neat and clean room and attache toilet. I found reasonable rent of a room.and services. Almighty God always bless team of Britannia hotel and its management. Keep it up. "
