"We got an early check-in due to VIP status and the view from our balcony was really nice, especially seeing the small town. The hotel was very convenient and walkable to restaurants, grocery store bonus, shops, attractions. bus stop #9 for pickup and drop off from the tour and airport bus was just on the side of the hotel. But overall, the staff, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were very friendly and had great customer skills. Thank you to the front desk lady who checked us in on the first day of our arrival. Also, to Oslanda (apologies for pronouncing your name wrong), Felicia and Jose S for helping us throughout our stay. Overall it was almost excellent but the only concern we had was on the day of the check-in there were hair on both our pillows :( good thing we brought our own sleeping bag cover sheets. "

"Really central, great location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again."

"This is a lovely hotel, very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The room was large. It was nice to be a bit outside of the main part of the city, which is more densely packed. "

"We were there only one night, but the room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. They recommended dinner at a nearby restaurant (Old Iceland) which was excellent! The hotel's breakfast buffett was wonderful with lots of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs and meats. I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Reykjavik. "
