We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!"

I had a reservation for 2 nights, rec'd numerous emails from hotels.com about it (including the one linking to this survey) only to get there and be told the B&B closed in Nov 2022 and there was no lodging to be had. They literally laughed when we walked in. I contacted hotels.com online, only to be told they couldn't help. "We stayed in one of the lodges, a short walk from the Castle building. Grounds are parkland style. Note that the the golf course that may be mentioned in other reviews is not there anymore. The castle itself is an interesting building, nicely furnished and restored. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were good quality and had good service. "
