"Lovely modern hotel in an excellent central location. Large suite with a big bathroom. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Could have done with a touch more decorative items but no complaints, the bed was very comfortable. Food and service was very good. Have stayed before and will again. "

"Its easy to find. Secure. Spacious. Very clean and staff are friendly. Make sure when you book, see that there is a kettle and cup in your room as ours didnt have that facility. With regards to parking , follow the direction that they gave. Overall, it has been good."

"The Brittania is in easy walking distance for the city centre and shopping, we walked it in 10 minutes. Hotel and facilities are clean and staff are always on reception for any queries. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bed was amazing, had a great night's sleep. Have been to this hotel before and they kindly gave us the same room on our request, I recommend The Brittania at every visit to Edinburgh "

"Hotel is in an great position, easy walk to the Royal Mile and a couple of great coffee shops nearby for breakfast. Good sized double room, was very clean and had everything required. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"A modern, clean hotel. While I had booked rooms with two separate beds, we were surprised that there were two queen beds in the room. The breakfast, which was available at a price, was pretty decent, too. A simple but nice touch was the hotel making mulled wine and mince pies available (for free) at the reception. "

"This hotel was in an excellent location with great touches in the room such as GHD straighteners and a dyson hair dryer. The hotel was lovely and clean with a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, again a nice touch. The mini bar was also complimentary. We would definitely stay again. Thank you."
