"First rate hotel with a unique experience in being able to enjoy the “waters” of Bath within the hotel. Very conveniently located. The air conditioning in the room did not sufficiently cool the room on the 22C days we were there, but the windows opened, which helped."

"Good location for a stay in the New Forest. Free parking on site is a bonus. Our room was a bit small but clean and comfortable."

"It’s a beautiful hotel within walking distance to Roman Baths and Bath Abbey and lots of shopping and restaurants. We didn’t much care for the breakfast buffet and parking was a little tricky as they were working on the roads."

"Old home that came with some of the old home issues, ie. plugs not compatible, toilet not flushing etc, but it was quaint and the staff was delightful. "

"The staff were very nice helpful from the cleaning staff to the dining staff the receptionist couldn’t do more wonderful couple of days the only downside was the gluten free bread which was disgusting "

"We had a lovely stay. Beautiful walled garden for relaxing having a drink/meal. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Some of the hotel is a little tired, but they appear to be working on it. The bar was redecorated during our stay, with minimal disruption. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel, but the meals and afternoon teas being served to guests in the garden looked delicious."

"Our stay was wonderful. Warm welcoming staff, where nothing was too much trouble. Our room was amazing, with a balcony to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. I would like to mention, a waitress with a pony tail, she was very efficient, seemed to know her job very well, and was a people person. Thank you to all the amazing staff, who, did not know this but made our Ruby wedding anniversary, and wonderful experience, and nice memories. "
