"Everything was first class from check-in when we asked Marie about getting a corner room and her explaining to us the resort rules and information about the resort and restaurants. We had to call maintenance from toilet not properly flushing and quickly correcting the problem. The view was outstanding looking over the activities pool and blue water of the bay. We ate at Don Roberto restaurant waiter Eder went out of his way to get us anything we asked for. We mentioned the Black/White restaurant Steak House dinner and he said he could get it for us the next night and he did. We had the surf and turf and the lobster. It was wonderful end to a great trip. One thing to remember is the staff is there and tipping them is money that is helping hard working people. Yes, it is an All-Inclusive resort, but everyone went above and beyond. Definitely recommend the RIU Hotels and Resorts. "

"This is our second time staying here and we love it. Myself and our friends collectively call this resort out happy place. The resort is beautiful. So many little touches make the place so special. The rooms are beautiful and clean and luxurious. The resort grounds are well maintained and we came for the first time the year they opened and then 5 years later and it was still just as beautiful and well kept. All the food is delicious and incredible. I've been to some all inclusives that have horrible food, not so Haven, it is excellent and delicious. The service is incredible and the nightly entertainment superb. I'd like to highlight Minerva, how was the hostess that we just happened to see pretty much every night for dinner! She was so nice, so accommodating even though we had a big group. She really went above and beyond. And there was a live band one evening, Movile, that was absolutely mind-blowing. I mean, better than many, many live bands I've seen in the states. I love this resort and see no need to go anywhere else for my Cancun all-inclusive experience, I full intend to just keep coming back here over and over!!"
