"Everything about our stay at the Douglas was beyond our expectation. Friendly staff who went the extra mile to insure we were well taken care of during our time on the isle of Arran. Food was excellent. Our entire party of 9 (five rooms) all want to return again in the future. "

The Douglas Hotel
Auchrannie Resort
4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (265)
"As a whole, the hotel was clean, mostly updated, had nice amenities, and very friendly helpful staff. The onsite restaurant accommodated our last minute reservation and the food and wine was fantastic. Spa was lovely (no hot tub though). The only real drawback was that our room was up MANY flights of very narrow stairs. We had 3 large military bags and 2 carry-ons so navigating this was difficult. Would have loved an elevator! "

Lagg Hotel
3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (22)
"The Lagg Hotel was like a haven for us. Our ferry had been delayed getting to Arran, so we were well and truely ready for a quiet peaceful night. We found the perfect place. The wooded setting, the spacious room and a fantastic meal in the Hotel's restaurant was just the tonic we needed."

Glenisle Hotel
3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (382)
"We had a lovely stay at the Glenisle but I would say it is a bijoux hotel rather than a boutique hotel. We were on the top floor and whilst the room was comfy enough it was on the small side. However the portion sizes at Breakfast more than made up for the snug sized rooms. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing. The hotel is beautifully situated opposite Holy Isle with a lovely beer garden"

The Burlington Guest House & Restaurant
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (104)
"Fab well appointed little Gem is what the Burlington Guest House is. The location is brilliant and the bus stops 1 minute from the guest house. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a great size and the sea view was fab. The Breakfast has a varied menu which caters for everybody and is delicious and well presented and perfectly cooked by Duncan. We had a meal on one evening this was tasty and service was quick and amazing value for money. A special mention must go to Duncan and...
