"The location was brilliant just around the corner from Star Beachboys surfboard hire and 2 short blocks from the main beach (Canoes- where the Duke Kahanamoku statue is). "It’s close to the conference center, where we were exhibiting. It’s essentially a large studio with full kitchen. It all feels a bit run down (my shower head just wouldn’t stay up, older towels, saggy mattress, curtains that don’t fully close, could use a better paint job). There’s plenty of things in cupboards (I assume leftover shower stuff, beach things) that are greet to have. It was great value for the time I was there so I’d likely book again."

"Beautiful and historic property. We enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel and its location in relation to the hawaiian royalty. Excellent service. We stayed in the ocean view room in the Diamond ring- somewhat outdated wing but the ocean view made up for it. The balcony seemed a little sketch at first but seemed to be durable enough while we were there, lol. Restaurant was nice, cool Banyan tree right down in the middle of the hotel property. Overall, excellent hotel, would love to come back again in the future!"
