"Chancery Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Hay on Wye for our family (2 adults and an infant). The property was clean, well-appointed, centrally located, and cozy. The designated parking spot was much appreciated and the Wi-Fi was fantastic. Everything about the cottage made our vacation as easy and relaxing as possible!"

"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Beds being an elderly couple we found not as comfortable as we would have liked but got better over the 3 night stay. First night woke all the time. Liked the open space & privacy. Great hotel - highly recommended.
"Stayed for a work trip. The food and drinks on offer at the hotel were great, especially breakfast. The staff were lovely, especially the lady on reception who was very friendly and helpful when I had issues checking in with a credit card. Lots of space to hold informal business meetings with my colleagues. Parking needed to be paid for separately but still very convenient in the middle of the town centre. Some colleagues mentioned that they could hear seagulls calling in the night but I couldn’t - possibly worth packing earplugs but it may just have been where their rooms were located in the hotel. "
