Bedding pristine, bed comfortable, little touches like fruit, biscuits, fridge, coffee machine all added to the welcome feel. Hosts are helpful and charming. Breakfast choices and standard top notch. "No lift. Needed to explain that to people who need that info when booking. Was an issue for my wife. Staff was excellent as was the breakfast. Location was very convenient. Bathroom was a bit small with no tub but we were able to work around it. Blinds did not block out the morning light but that was just an observation."

"Had a couple of nights stay. The hotel is well situated right on the beach front. The staff are very friendly and we had a great stay. Our room was tiny which would have been an issue if we had stayed longer (the room was higher than it was wide!) Nice room, lovely people, excellent service
"This was our first visit to The Grand and we were very pleasantly surprised, especially by the excellent service. From our first encounter, being greeted as we pulled up in front of the hotel, to the farewell as we pulled away at the end of our stay, everyone was friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. They even went the extra mile to ensure the old car we were traveling in was kept safe and secure. The room itself was very pleasant. We had booked their most basic room as the hotel was full but it was still very nice. We had pre-booked dinner elsewhere but did visit the bar for a drink on returning after dinner and the staff there were great. Breakfast was excellent and the dining room it was served in very elegant. Overall, we were very impressed and will most likely look for an opportunity (or even an excuse) to return for another, longer stay at The Grand. "
