The arrival to the hotel was fantastic, arrival via taxi from the airport directly to the entrance to the hotel. The rooms are well decorated with huge beds, showers and lounge space. "Wonderful and unique, the property feels like it belongs in the renaissance era. Charming with plenty of opportunities for stunning pictures. Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern. "

"This place is amazing. It is super easy to get to the main islands but it gives you a break from the crowds. The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The food was terrific (still dreaming about the breakfasts) and the balcony was a world-beating location for a spritz. We didn’t use the spa because we have a young family but I’m sure that was amazing too. Lido is so relaxing for a walk around. "

"We loved everything about Palazzo Maria Formosa. The hotel is beautiful with so much history. Quirky in places which adds to the charm and tells a story. Staff are brilliant. Very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was gorgeous and with a view of the square. They have their own dock for the taxi to drop and pick you up. Breakfast is great.
