The only drawback is we had the attic apartment which has a (locked) door leading to the apartment below and from there you can hear every single conversion of the occupants and use of the kitchen. A part from that lovely place and affordable for Venice. "

"Centrally located near everything. The unit was a 5-10 minutes walk away from all the major Venice sights. The room was clean but lots of noise from its central location. Dishe cleanliness was not the greatest but otherwise, very clean. It advertises with free wifi but there are none to be found in the unit which affected my confort rating. Lots of planning goes in those trips nowaday, requiring reliable internet connection. There's no front desk as it is located 5-10 minutes away!"

"The location is ideal a few minutes from San Marco and the Accademia and close to a vaporetto stop with easy access to the airport. Martin was a most congenial host meeting us on the dock and responding quickly to questions. The decor is comfortable and luxurious. This is a true rental by owner rather than the more usual sterile apartments rented out by real estate companies. Minimal cooking options with a small refrigerator appropriate for breakfast but not much else."

If you want to get the local vibe with access to all the tourist areas of Venice, then this is a great stay. We had access to amazing local restaurants off the main drag. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "
