"Room was ok needs updating, sink taps need attention, cracks in sink and shower tray, but they didn't leak so that was good, perhaps they will get round to it as it looks like there doing bits to hotel."

"We arrived at the hotel early afternoon. The hotel had no sign on it so we were unsure which building it was. Eventually on entering the building it appeared very dated and not welcoming. The bar area did not look inviting. We waited for the client infront of us to finish checking in. We noticed, in the meantime, a notice on the desk saying there was no hot water until further notice. The receptionist said to us that an engineer was on his way and it would be repaired soon. How she came to this...

"The hotel is a lovely place, the staff was friendly and very helpful. On the days when we stayed the unique bad things we encountered were noise guesses in the room next door, so we couldn't really rest as we expected but apart from that attention at the hotel in great! "

"There is no check in desk. The Cambria and Bonair are run from the Bonair. I had to ring the mob no to check in. I waited quite a while before someone eventually turned up. He wanted payment even though I thought I'd paid already. It turns out I had and I'm pursuing it with my credit card company. No towel in the room and the window wouldn't shut. Checking out was just as bad. I had to just leave the key as I had a train to catch. The bar and restaurant are closed. I wasn't expecting much as it...

"We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early."

"Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "
