Banff Ski Holiday Packages

Set amid the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies, Banff is the place to get your wintertime thrills. With over 30 feet of annual snowfall, more than 3,300 skiable acres and four terrain parks, Sunshine Village is paradise for powder hounds. Practice the basics at the ski school before tackling the extreme Delirium Dive off-piste run. Sixty runs for beginner to advanced riders plus night skiing lure skiers of all ages to Mount Norquay Ski Resort. Visiting with the kids? Get your slide on at the tubing park, Tube Town. Alternatively, head to Lake Louise Mountain Resort and carve up 164 runs spread across four mountain faces. After slicing through the glades and open bowls, enjoy après-ski at Banded Peak Base Camp. Collectively known as “SkiBig3,” the three ski resorts are accessible with one lift ticket. Single and multi-day passes are available and one-day adult tickets start from 151 Canadian dollars (around £97). Continue your Banff ski holiday at Nakiska Ski Resort, a family-friendly resort that hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics.

How To Get Around

Touch down at Calgary Intl. Airport (YYC) and hire a car for the approximately 90 mile or 1.5-hour drive to Banff. From the town centre, it’s just a 15-minute drive to Mount Norquay Ski Resort and 20 minutes to Sunshine Village. Snow chains or tyres are required on most roads around Banff in winter. Prefer to leave the car behind? The SkiBig3 ski shuttle takes you from your hotel to the slopes.
