(588 reviews) Overall it was a good stay. I would've given it 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing I don't like is how high off the ground the bathtubs are. Very unnaturally high and one might easily hurt themselves going in or out of it. There was no bag in the bathroom garbage can and under the bed was really dusty. I also didn't appreciate that I had to pay extra to use the hot tub. I would go there again. (285 reviews) The hotel, room size, facilities cleanliness were great. However the food quality was poor, both myself and my partner had upset stomachs with on and off vomiting throughout our stay and we stayed for 4 days prior to that in Cairo, where all was normal. The reception staff were helpful especially Rahma, but in the restaurants the staff showed very little interest in providing good service you'd expect from a 5 star. We dined at the Red Sea Wharf on our anniversary night where food was better, but the head waiter(Waleed) was quite rude at the start wanted to sit us on a table next to the toilets rather then 3 tables with a good view that were free at the time and later on he came to check on us and recommended a wine that they dont even have in stock. Thankfully we were looked after by Salah the rest of the evening, he was good and with his smile and kindness made our evening better. I would like to also highlight Ahmed from Pilli pub, like Salah he was really kind to us and everyone in general, which made a difference. The manager outside in the patio area where the music was performed did an outstanding job, always responding to our requests kindly. Good service with the sack lunches- appreciated that the fruits were washed with filtered water. Negative- Horrible check in reception- waited for the room , 45 minutes, yet did not tell us. They did not tell us anything about the place- did not know about the free restaurants and did not know about the free liquor choices.
