Beautiful view of the ocean, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfas t was fantastic. Dinner options were okay but not great - had a better experience going out. Received a high-pressure sell to sit for a presentation when we arrived. Other than that, we didn't receive any benefit for beinf a VIP.

Staff was great and hotel was beautiful. Food was good but could be better. Because we traveled during the holiday busy week, it took us an hr to get to downtown la Fortuna. So, most nights we decided to stay at the hotel for dinner. It would be nice if things stayed open later like the hot springs and kids club, etc. But the service was exceptional. Free laundry machines to wash your clothes and shoe dryer was a bonus!

My stay during Spring Break was wonderful. GREAT good choices, staff were always extremely helpful and greeted you with a smile. I traveled with my 13 year old daughter who did enjoy herself. However, I would suggest offering more activities for teens and tweens in the future. There is nothing offered to keep them occupied and socialize, On another note, I would like to commend the entertainment provided nightly, every show was absolutely amazing!!
