"It should be made very clear that there is no in-person reception at the hotel. Only when attempting my check-in did I discover from a sign outside the previous reception area that check-in must now be carried out at the associated pub/restaurant opposite. In addition, the web site posted telephone number, which has a Telford area code, in reality links to a comms centre situated somewhere else. I was told that I would be redirected to the hotel. But no one picked up my call. I now understand...

"I have stayed at the Himley many times over the past 10 years. For a long time it has been in need of a refurb. Finally this has happened and the hotel has been transformed into a wonderful boutique hotel. The quality of the refurbished rooms is excellent. A lovely place to stay. "
