"I have stayed in this hotel several times now as it is perfectly situated on my route around the area. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming after a hard day on the roads. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with tea,coffee,biscuits a coffee pod machine, iron and board, hairdryer and even a digital radio which they have on as you enter the room which I think is a lovely touch. The area feels safe and quiet but is within easy reach to major roads. I would recommend this location for...

"Slightly tired rooms but a lovely pub/restaurant with great staff. Fantastic location just at the top of the high street and only a couple of minutes from the National Trust property. A bit noisy but that’s the price you pay for the location. Recommended!"

"I stay away for work most week nights an have experienced highs and lows around Wales, the South West and North West. I can’t remember another hotel exceeding my expectations the way The Belmore has. Every member of staff was friendly and courteous. Every meal was exquisite. The room was clean and well presented and equipped. If I was being picky the room was a little warm and I always love a fridge but I’ll remember the Belmore for all the right reasons. What an amazing team and awesome food ❤️"

"All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Always service with a smile. Food was fantastic for the evening meal in the main restaurant. The breakfast was lovely, with the buffet option included, with plenty of options and extra bits like Chia seeds and apricots for the cereals and beautiful pastries included too. The staff in particular Chloe and Aleesha really made our stay worthwhile. We have already booked to come again. "

"One night's stay at the Partridge for a wedding taking place nearby. Room was very spacious - and the bathroom even more so! Very comfortable bed. We asked to check out late the next day and was initially given an extra hour, but then weren't able to accommodate - so staff offered us free coffee in the dining area whilst we waited, which was a lovely gesture. We had dinner and breakfast here, which was excellent and portion sizes were generous."

"Check in was easy and room very large. Bathroom a tad small though and very tired with loose tap and shabby panelling.Staff friendly and helpful especially in the pub/restaurant next door. Food quality and drink prices good value!"

"The Bears Paw is a lovely country pub with a splendid kitchen and very comfortable rooms... and a very warm welcome to dogs!! The rooms are very nicely decorated, generously sized and comfortable. "Was a great stay. Rooms are fantastic except the bathroom door won’t stay open. It’s a very heavy thick door and auto closes . Very annoying you can’t keep it open. I’d suggest the hotel has door wedges in the room guests can use to prop open as going in and out gets annoying not to mention the noise it causes every time it slams shut. ( noise for other guests ) Also all the hotel halls have motion sensors to turn the lights on as you enter. You end up entering very dark hallways before each...
