The farmhouse is adorable. Well kept, very clean, and a wonderful place to rest. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and if you have children there is plenty of room to play outside (bring their scooters/bikes because it is a long paved driveway). The Paul Bunyan trail is directly outside of the property for biking, running, and snowmobiling. Jon (the owner) has excellent communication and is easily accessible if needed. He contacted us as we were there for a very toasty week. Jon made sure the upstairs was comfortable and the temp in the house good during the unusually hot week. Also, there were a few games and toys in the attic room; kids loved it up there and described the whole house style as “preppy.” That’s a good thing. It’s such a neat old farmhouse, in a great location, with just the right renovations. Cleanup expectations were reasonable. Linens and towels were very nice quality and plentiful! We stayed at Jon's for 3 nights for our annual girls' weekend trip. The house is beautifully decorated, and stocked very well. The beds were comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, and the house is in a very quiet location, but still close enough to Walker. Check-in was simple, and Jon was very nice.
