"My family and I loved this cozy cottage. It is so well designed we loved our stay and it was so comfortable. Mindfully stocked with all the things we needed to settle right in. The beautiful large windows allowed us to rest our eyes on the beautiful peaceful Iceland landscape. It's so meditative and inspiring...we found ourselves just staring outside for periods of time.. getting lost in it. We loved our visits with the sheep too! We look forward to visitng again!"

"We had an excellent stay at Skalakot and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is so beautiful and our room was very spacious. We also really enjoyed the fireplace lounge after dinner. The spa was worth the extra fee and a very relaxing experience. Dinner was so delicious and relaxing as well. We were part of a larger group and that didn’t impact the quality of our meal. Our breakfast was also delicious and the staff even accommodated an early departure with to go boxes and coffee....

We were able to watch the Aurora borealis from this hotel as it is pitch black around it.
