The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. The road one street down is under construction so no cars could get through to the actual location. "I checked in quite late due to the ferry schedule. The unit is less than 10 minutes from the ferry port. accessing the building was not difficult although as a short person I struggled to reach the keypad without having to step onto the first step at the doorway. I had a small carry on luggage and had to climb a somewhat narrow spiral staircase to the third floor with it. The keypad on the door handle was really frustrating to use because you had to turn the handle just enough to trigger it to...

"The location and authenticity of the accommodation is amazing. It is very close to the main sites in Valletta and in a traditional lane house. It is also great value. The one thing to be aware of is that given it is an authentic house and on a main thoroughfare, it is super noisy. If you bring some ear plugs it will be fine. The apartment itself is well equipped and all you need for a great stay in Valletta. Rooms are very spacious."

The only drawback was the major construction that was underway in the plaza across the street with the noise of heavy equipment being quite disruptive while trying to relax on vacation. We were there for 2 weeks and the construction lasted all day each weekday. It appeared they had at least another 2 to 3 weeks of roadwork ahead. It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into deciding what was needed to make the unit work well from the perspective of an actual user. "Lovely Place , Location is Perfect right in the middle of town. a bit noisy at times as expected given the narrow streets and Bars and restaurants close by. The Bed is Terrible a Single Spring Mattress that you can feel the springs while sleeping. The sheets were poor and of poor quality not comfortable at All! 2 Flat Piliows ... 2 for a couple on a big bed Chep... Cheap.... Cheap.... !!!!!!!
