"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. "Lovely short stay at this gem of a hotel. The staff were all so friendly & really helpful throughout our stay. We were contacted beforehand to see if we wished to dine in on our arrival which was very handy. Lovely fresh food was most welcome after a long drive. The bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean. Secure parking was available. We would definitely stop here again ! Thank you team Sysonby Knoll. "
