"What a beautiful house, they have thought of everything. Stayed here with a group of friends, to wake to the sound of nothing but bird song...then had a pool party in the heated pool, barbeque on the veranda over looking the country side, to leisurely stroll through the lanes to scotney castle...plenty of places a car drive away...just the perfect place to get together, we didnt want to leave. And a shout out to John the house manager who was on hand if we needed him."

"I was in a room in the old part of the hotel it had a lot of character was clean with a walk in shower. Staff were pleasant and friendly, location was great and the lowest price for a room in Tonbridge. I would stay there again."

"From the moment we arrived Carol made us feel welcomed. She showed us to our room and explained meals times. She made us feel so at home. The room was cosy and decorated in the style of the coaching inn. Dark furnishings and a king sized bed. Lots of drawers to store clothes and a good sized wardrobe too. Lovely modern shower room with hand wash, body wash and shampoo products provided. Ironing board, hair dryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities, tv and bottled water also provided Bar and restaurant areas were in keeping with a coaching inn and there was a large outside area with tables and seating. Perfect for a warm evening. Menu and quality of food was outstanding and add to that the friendliness of all the staff, every meal was a treat. Breakfast was included and plenty of options to choose from. Location perfect for seeing castles, gardens and Chatham Docks and even close enough to go to the seaside only 90 minutes away. We had a really lovely stay here and we will be returning. Thank you all at the Camden Arms. A real jewel."

"We had a lovely stay at the chequers over Easter. Room was lovely - bed super comfy. Nice touches of decent shampoo/ shower gel etc. And I don't think I saw on the listing, but a TV with access to Netflix etc. Good location for going to walks / biking. There's a public footpath right next to the pub and a few biking options a short drive away. Breakfast was delicious. We ate in the pub both nights, food was lovely and service was great. And on the Saturday night was treated to a brilliant local jazz band. All round great, friendly service from the team. Would definitely recommend."

"I don't normally bother to write a review but I want to give deserved praise to the staff at The Goudhurst Inn: unfailingly friendly and thoughtful. My room was lovely and the food was excellent - way above standard pub fare. Well done to everyone involved."
