"Casa Matilda is kind of a bed and breakfast style place as it does not have a manned front desk after about 5 pm. They do have a number to call in case there is any issue, and I never actually had any issue at all. Nevertheless, the location was perfect for me as I was working a couple blocks away. "Great boutique hotel ( 7 rooms) near the top attractions, parks and Plaza España; located in the historic district. 3 stories with no elevator. I highly recommended it. It has the perfect location!"

Just down the hill is a small cafe, the 4 Gatos, and a Taverna where I got an outstanding Negroni. At night we could see the Alhambra from our bed. Priceless, as the ads go. The owner went to an extraordinary length to help me (77) get to a cab. We'd go back in a minute. "
