"A great hotel if you either have a car or need to be by the airport. It is about 25 minutes from the old city, but not a terrible drive. The staff were extremely friendly. We had an issue with the drain being clogged when we arrived but they had someone there to fix it within 5 minutes. The breakfast was fairly good and there was a lot of parking. "

"This is a very nice hotel overlooking the sea. Excellent and very friendly staff. Quick checkin. I was impressed by the speed of the elevator. I’ll review my room number 203. Nice and clean room. Bathroom door opened only 45 degrees because it would stop when it hit the toilet. No stopper for the bathtub. Door wouldn’t close completely without giving it a good nudge. No blackout curtains, but not necessary since there’s a rollup door for wind and rain protection, and it makes the room plenty dark. Very comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. White sheets and comforter which were spotlessly clean. Plenty of outlets in the room, including one on either side of the bed. Complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. TV monitor was on the small size, about 19 inches I think. But who watches TV with a nice beach and sea nearby? Amazing views of the sea. Restaurant serves excellent food. Breakfast buffet has lots of good selections including two egg dishes, different breads, fruit, Greek yogurt, cereals, bacon, coffee and juice options. They have good options on their regular menu, but the serving sizes are a bit small, and expensive. But very tasty. I discovered I can come later and only pay €12 for their nice breakfast buffet. I’ll be back. "

"We were already familiar with the location of Skandalis apartments in the village, approx 20 mins from the airport. The top floor, 2-bed apartment was spotlessly clean, well furnished, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The host lives in the house next door and fixed a broken toilet flush immediately. Brand new bedding, pillows, blankets, loads of storage space in both bedrooms, fresh linens and towels provided every 3 days. The apartment was cleaned twice during our 9 day stay. The only negatives are the lack of cutlery if there are 5 people, the outdoor pool has no handrail and, as a disabled traveller, I struggled to get in and out of the large pool. It would also benefit from a new fridge as we were unable to use the door to store milk etc because the rails to hold the bottles were missing and there was only one shelf. A toaster would also be very useful. A handrail at the step end of the pool would be hugely helpful. Aphrodite (our apartment name) was under the roof of the building and we had lots of nesting birds giving us a wonderful morning chorus each day. We had masses of hot water in the large bathroom with a walk-in shower with waterfall showerhead. It was early in the season (April) so we were the only tourists in the 6 apartments available. Ample parking on site and fantastic location opposite Irene taverna, with supermarket, cafe and pharmacy close by. I would definitely stay here again. A car is needed to get around the area."

"This is a very special place and we all loved it (7-70+ years). There are breathtaking views from every single window. Big pool with more amazing sea views. Outdoor cooking facilities. Large, airy rooms. Everything spotless. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Great restaurants a short drive away. The property manager Lis is a goldmine of useful information and always on hand to help. 10/10."

"Super house and Etouri concierge. Best advice and on good restaurants an reseevations. Love id. The pool however was way too cold for us. So we did not use it. It could be heated for 70 euro a day, but for 2 weeks that quite a lot of money extra. We recommend to use a few solarpanels to get the pool on at least 24 degrees. Then it would be fine."

"These apartments were such a lovely surprise! The pool area was clean fresh with plenty of beds. The snack bar provided everything you need all day long with a friendly service. Apartments were cleaned most days, again everything we need. Large, airy, spacious. A shop 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants within walking distance. Irene's tavern is the best meal we've ever had, with great service. At least one of the restaurants have Greek music on each night. All in all, we could not have asked for more for our family holiday. Amazing !!! "
